The trump journal (editor Fred Crane prefers the old English/Scotish name of the instrument) Vierundzwanzigsteljahrsschrift der Internationalen Maultrommelvirtuosengenossenschaft (VIM for short), in spite of its name, comes out at irregular intervals, and is in English, with some articles both in the original language and English tranlation.

But there really is an International Society of Trump Virtuosos, established in 1984; it has no dues, issues no communications, and does not meet; everyone who wants to is free to call himself or herself President of the Society.

The VIM situation has changed a bit. Both Nos. 4 and 5 are now out of print. Nos. 1-3 and 6-9 are now $10 each.
VIM no. 10 has just been printed. Nos. 10 and 11 are available by subscription, at the new rates below, including postage. I regret that somewhat increased printing costs and much increased postage, especially for overseas mailing, have made the higher subscription rates necessary.

Payments may be by international postal money order or by a check drawn on a US bank.
